Partnership:Â America Community Facelift Corp. (ACFC) & ACNS Business Solutions
ACFC serves as program facilitator, coordinating educational programming in partnership with licensed business professionals from ACNS Business Solutions.
WorkReady is a workforce readiness initiative that equips residents—especially New Americans, returning citizens, and underemployed adults—with marketable business and administrative skills. Participants receive hands-on training in areas directly aligned with ACNS’s service offerings, including virtual assistance, HR support, compliance, and customer service.

Program Curriculum
The WorkReady program prepares participants for real-world employment through hands-on training and career development.
All practicum placements are conducted under the following guidelines:
- Direct supervision by licensed and experienced business professionals.
- Participants must complete required liability waivers and program agreements.
- All activities conducted in compliance with applicable labor and safety regulations.
- Comprehensive liability coverage maintained by program partners.
- Regular performance reviews and safety protocol training.
Foundational Business Skills Training
Building essential competencies for professional success in administrative and business environments.
- Business Communication:Â Email etiquette, phone scripts, client interaction
- Document Management:Â Filing systems, digital tools, compliance protocols
- Time & Task Coordination:Â Calendars, workflows, and project tracking
- Customer Service & Intake:Â Handling inquiries, onboarding clients, managing expectations
Supervised Real-World Experience
- Stipended Placement
Select graduates placed in paid practicum roles with ACNS.
- Supervised Tasks
Real-world tasks under professional supervision: client intake, document prep, CRM updates
- Weekly Mentorship
Regular check-ins with ACNS staff for guidance and skill development.
Professional Development & Wraparound Support
Comprehensive support services to ensure participant success:
- Career Services:Â Resume building, mock interviews, and LinkedIn setup
- Language Support:Â ESL support and translated materials for New Americans
- Financial Assistance:Â Childcare and transportation stipends available
- Digital Literacy:Â Coaching for participants new to remote work
